abhisek, would be lovely to have your portrayal of the story, the aesthetics of the defocused , blur, is a style, thats lovely, and one that ive come across only on this forum, its intriguing and interesting allright.

Abhishek, i have come back to this image several times. sometimes hoping for more of a clue from you, sometimes trying to determine how i feel. finally, i decided to comment. i like the blurred image. i made a bunch in Sri Lanka following a train of thought in my mind ... but that is another matter.

Here's what i take away from it, based on your title. The large elephant (closest to camera) seems to have a defiant stance ... almost stomping away ... but elephants dont do that, so here i am speaking anthropomophically. An inherently social animal leaving the group ... to me, the title would be stronger had there been more of a group in the distance. with just a sprinkling of elephants, the "non-conformist" is a bit of a stretch. Now, in non-conformist if you meant *you* then there are many here!

So in sum, am interested in hearing your "story." Bring it on, please

Arati..really appreciate your stretch of imagination... that was bang on! I indeed wanted to show that social disjoint this elephant was creating, rather choosing for herself, with probably leaving behind that last binding relationship...
I told you the execution could have been far better... those black spots further back was a small group.... the one closer to the elephant is the baby... wish I cud have kept a bit more definition out there...
