landscape of the trans-himalayan cold desert with its landmark wedge-cut-pinnacle mountains. its happens due to constant freezing and thawing of water and snow, which break these sedimentary mountains, and the process is hurried when they are on the river floor readily absorbing water. this geological process never became so clear unless i found this isolated mountain.

i preferred the vertical panorama crop to show the expanse of this spiti river floor with the mountains around. and that little colourful fields on the bottom edge helps to see the way colours desaturate with distance.
