Long way to go....
I made this image recently at Dandeli... I saw this Giant Wood Spider hanging in thin silk may be 60 feet from the ground about to be ballooned air (spiders use silk to disperse long distance like hot air balloons :) ) I deliberately rotated the image by 180 degrees (thanks to Dr. Guru) to give the feel of spider has long way to travel either up to a tree or to ground. Your suggestions and comments are welcome

Details: Nikon D80, Nikkor 70-300mm VR+ 1.4TC, f/10, 1/1250, iso 800. Used Manfrotto Monopod with 484RC2 Ball Head

Nice perspective here Aravind - love the relative size of the spider against expanse of the blue sky. I think ether stopping down a bit more or wide open would have added to the image (which would have made those leaves either more defined or totally blurred). If you are using monopod I suggest go with a sturdy tripod. It will give better control in the field. Of course pain to carry but then it is a must. Thanks for sharing.
