In love with this one :-). Just a hint of presence but enough for the mind, isn't it ?? These feelings are just so special...

Absolutely agree with dada here... the "just enough" presence is making this image for me... but probably I would prefer this in shades of gray... the slight tinge of green is not adding any value in my opinion.

I like this image as is without any added noise. This is how we saw things there :-)

"Just enough" presence . It would be a challenge now to get this on a print Ramesh.
Had the weather stayed like this, i guess we would have had more images. Wonderful visuals we had for first 3 days.

Ramesh, Probably a large print can do more justice to experience that we had.

On a related image processing note, I have been struggling with some of my images. Very difficult translate that experience, right ? If I open up the mood of 'cold' vanishes. If I keep subdued somehow I have not been able to gently emphasize the subjects. How can our images touch our skins too (to feel the cold) and not just the eyes ? :)

Thanks all for your views. Agree, it will be a challenge make a print of it. Will give it a try one of these days.

Ganesh, it is really hard processing these kind of images. With such a compressed tonal range, very small changes make huge difference to the look and feel of the image. For this specific image, I tried few usual stuff (including b&w) and finally gave up on all that. All I did was a small correction in WB as the image as shot was a bit warmer. That's all.

Another beautifully quiet image. i love the look. i am in the mood these days for soft harmony in images ... elements that do not jar. here, with the eye exploring the shades of grey-blue and finding the "phantom" not suddenly but gradually, is beautiful to me.

thanks

This is wonderful capture, Rameshji! Lovely processing to go with the image where mood is aptly conveyed. TFS
