Gyrated Reality
My daughter complained of vertigo on seeing this. Hope its effect is not that severe on you :) Would love to know your views and comments.

Ramesh

Good thought in making this a vertical image... the parallel patterns look super appealing

Beautiful capture, Rameshji! I like the processing here to maintain the misty feel, which is a difficult task. I feel brighter border would enhance this image. TFS

Ramesh, if you could loose the identity entirely by rotation then it would not cause vertigo The mind would start fresh learning the new pattern. I think the leaves root the brain in the other direction which causes vertigo as I see it

That said, I think you are almost there for vertigo-free composition. How about a vertical pano without the leaves cropping till half of the frame ? Or may smaller crop of the same ?

We learn new things in all these attempts which I believe enriches our ability to express as images. Thanks for sharing..

excellent one. Tickles the hard wired part of the brain in a different way.

Thanks all.

Ganesh, challenging the brain was the intention of this image:) I tried the pano crop as suggested. The image loses its appeal. It looks like a closely packed set of thick lines.

May be you are right Ramesh, it was just a suggestion to solve the vertigo issue :)
