This is a fantastic image Saurabh! The effect of light worked very well. The only nit in the image for me is the lack of DoF in back edge of the wings, but the overall impact of the image is excellent. Thanks for sharing.

Amazing perspective here, I agree the use of torches has revolutionized the way we shoot, especially in the digital era, this one shows the possibilities.

Thank you very much for the kind words for my image.. you are absolutely right on blur wings at the edge.. but its not due to the low DOF, but what i have observed is,, many butterflies rub their lower wings with each-other... and i used torch light here,,, hence i did not get good enough Shutter speed in this image to get that part sharp...
and thank you very much for pointing out this part, as i did not think about it at all before you said... Thats what i call a very good comment...

Fantastic lighting here Saurabh. Very well made image this is.

Back lighting worked wonders here. Apart from the wings I also liked the way the eyes/head is having a metallic shine.

Nice effect you have achieved here Saurabh ! I think a little more light on the face would have added further to the image. Torch light is offers some creative possibilities more so for macro photography. Thanks for sharing..
