, more patterns as seen on top of the crane could have added further. You could have also ( NOT SHOULD HAVE ) started the frame at the bottom with the curve on the back of the crane and used the lovely patterns of the reeds just on top of it. I feel that would have added as well. I agree with your thoughts of keeping it fully mysterious as well .....working on these kind of images are always tough. To keep the eyes, mind and imagination of the viewer equally glued on to these kind of frames where there is no details,no action, is indeed tough. My reason for the suggestion was that I felt a little monotony after the curves were over for the eyes....was wishing what if just the curves lead the mind slowly into another aspect,another story which too is incomplete ? But, guess we all think differently...
