Hi Nevil,
Birds moving from form to formless across the frame is really interesting. Not sure of the long streak on the right side.
Thanks for sharing

Wonderful combination of streaks Nevil, the uncontrolled waves of energy transmitted visually so strongly. In fact somehow, I wish there were some more lateral streaks but am ok with this. The uncontrolled nature works for me here.

A fine image here Nevil, what are those horizontal streaks ? Just wondering - should I train my mind to see is this as is or without the horizontal streaks ? Probably these subtle discussions will open up new doors in future. Thanks for sharing.

thanks nirlep, nilanjan 'n ganesh for words. actually, those horizontal streaks made this image for me .. they are tree branches. now this might help you see the image other way around; would like to know, do this change your perception or liking?

thanks again.

Should have seen this image before reading your comment, Nevil. Can't understand how those tree branches are 'hanging' in there !
Coming back, loved this image for the total being formless, about how it grows from bottom right (less activity) to the upper left (heavy activity), different blurs on the birds. By the time, you reach upper left corner, birds start forming shape, giving the mind stability it needed.

Can you also tell how it is related to autumn? (migrating birds hence autumn?)

TFS.

thanks samyak, for the input. the title 'autumn' as i captured them during that time, and because i wanted to relate rosy starling blurs with the falling leaves .. you may find little exaggerated here but may find some resemblance in bottom right corner.

Not at all exaggerated Nevil. This is what Impressionism is all about. Relating the movement of the starlings to the falling leaves of Autumn is one amazing way to bring another dimension to this image my dear friend. The thoughts and words of a true artist. Hat's off...It is never about what I see but what I feel in my heart....wonderful. I have been seeing this image many a times now, your image has so wonderfully exposed the broader sense of life. You have united forms of life in this image. The slow growing inanimate tree and the fast moving wings of the starlings have united so well to depict life as one. It expresses the positive energy of two different forms as one in life. Am in awe actually Nevil. Compliments once again :-).

thanks nilanjan for expressing deeply with words, which i have always lacked. i feel more than happy to read 'n re-read. actually, i am posting this series in reverse order of complexity (for a reason i will tell later), otherwise it would have been much easier for viewer to comprehend my point of view.

thanks again :)
