Arati, as I mentioned on your fb post, to me I see a kind of "shyness" portrayed in those submissive curves. It is interesting how we extend/feel context of human postures in a subtle way in other forms and shapes.

You may read this this blog post on how shapes influence emotions. The 'bossy' slash in '//' is an interesting view. Similarly the prominent two curves on the right of the first image in this post (first one) appeared like a contour of shy face (with head down) to me :)

Arati: I am having difficulty in reading "Into The Mind" , may be i need to see more of them ? I liked the challenge by these images posed , to read them.

Thanks for the comments, Swapnil, Ganesh, RD.

Thanks Ganesh - took a look at that shapes post ... interesting. has made me think a lot ... about the universality of line angles and shapes that cue emotions. and by universality i mean that those cues are not only anthropogenic. very interesting indeed - thanks for this. will give me a different angle to view a lot of images now on.

RD: Did you see the series on my website? the link is in the description - and i reposted here ... maybe the series, presented in a chronological progression of how I saw the images may help... though, what *you* see or connect with (or not!) may be completely different ... these are abstracts :)

thanks!

Just love probing language through visuals like this. The title gives enough space to find my own meanings. Into the mind ..could be a million things we see or not see, feel or not feel. Focus together with un-focus works very well to articulate the haze that mind is; focussing when contingent, looking away when not. Simultaneity of presence and absence.
Thanks for sharing

Glad to hear, Nirlep .... would like to hear more, if anything on the website went deeper ... touched a nerve, triggered a memory. or not.
thanks for your comments, as always, so thoughtful!

Related thought on consumption of images:
after making these and some others - like this series: Millions being lonesome together , i realized that images need time. time to make, time to consume.

in this day and age of hitting "like" i want to go back to slowing down. more mindfulness, less multitasking ;-)
some images on CNP seem to offer just that opportunity.
thanks!

My favorite is " Memories "....:-). I was trying to be very honest with my mind here Arati. I found some of the images to be so contemporary, the trails for example. Not at all easy. It does not really matter finally how others see it. I think attempting to make images like these will make a more deeper connection with life.
