A Wydah bird in flight
I made this image in Masai Mara, Kenya. It was inspired by an image of a racket tailed drongo in flight, which was made by Pravin Devnathan in Pench, Maharasthra. While that image was of a drongo flying vertically up the frame, I wanted to try an image with a bird across the frame diagonally. I think depicts the sense of motion better - especially for a bird with a long tail that is accentuated in flight.

Welcome to CNP Anuroop ! Hope you will enjoy participating here.

I like the high key silhouette here with enough space for it to fly ! I also think a slow shutter image with blurred flight in this exact composition would made a lot of difference. Thanks for sharing.

Anuroop, perfect placement of the bird in the frame. The angle adds to the dynamism of the image. The white-out sky gives the image a feel of minimalism. Nicely done. TFS.

The tail looks like a few brush strokes, and as the eyes travel further, these strokes converge and a there it is,.. a bird in flight. Beautiful one Anuroop. Thanks for Sharing.
