Welcome to CNP Aishwarya ! Hope you will enjoy participating here.

Friends, Aishwarya is very young, just passed out 10th standard if I understand it right. Please help her to improve her skills.

Aishwarya, we recently added one more gallery named "Creative Visions". This gallery ("Nature as Art") is for abstracts, monotones and B&W images. I think this image suits the other gallery better. The slower shutter speed/panning works here. I think this a more interesting image than just showing a crisp portrait of a jackal. Probably you could have retained the tail fully. You may consider sharpening the image further so that the upper body part is very sharp while the legs show motion.

A word of caution for you Aishwarya - you young minds have far more creativity than some of us oldies here. Don't get overly influenced by what we say here. Firmly stick to your views if you can't relate to what we say here. You may want to listen to technical suggestions since it comes with years of experience of using camera. But when it comes to suggestions related to creative/artistic aspects of the image go with your gut feel. Remember you are right here, not us !!

Best wishes and wish you good light !

Welcome to CNP, Aishwarya, first let me congratulate you on being part of this great learning forum. There are no absolute truths in CNP, just viewpoints so dont' worry if you don't hit high comments/views. Just keep bringing images, soon you will know what works.

Regarding this image, like the pan, Pans often work when there is contrast color in the frame. like a brown deer on the green of the forest. Here the jackal and the background are of the same color so impact is reduced. There should be more space to allow the viewer into the dynamism of the frame especially in the pan.
Good luck.
