Sometime back while watching a tv show "wild russia" snippets like your shot rustled through my thoughts. Often I used to wonder about the place of such images where we show only parts of the body when we want to show more than just the body. The film too went like this. Some real shots with animals facing the camera, full body in view followed by shots of animals disappearing into the grass or bush. It were these frames which brought the real feel of the wild. A disappeared animal is more than a fully visible one. It makes us uncomfortable. At CNP there are some beautiful evocative images of comuflaged presence. Your shots belongs to that category. And because it is a snake it is doubly special.
