Fire
Its the autumn time, there are loads/varieties of colours all around - shades of greens, yellows, reds, orange & maroon.
I found the yellow 'flame' & the reddish edges of this leaf to be interesting. I placed the yellow leaf on a larger red/maroon leaf to obtain a contrasting BG.

Views welcome...

rgds,
Kaushik

P.S. Watching the image against a dark BG (say black) might look better IMO.

Kaushik,
This is definitely one of your best macro creations i have come across. Nice seeing here. Good idea to go with placing the subject on a contrasting background. The texture of the bg adds a lot to the image and its vision.
You are definitely enjoying the autumn there :)
Keep them coming.

A very well seen image. The colors are nice and rich and yes a black BG does pop up the details in the image. You could have used a Black bordering as well.

Excellent image Kaushik ! Nice imagination of the fire too. Wish the bottom one is a little more blurred to focus the viewer on the front one more. Lovely design and nice seeing however ! Thanks for sharing.

This is truly fantastic Kaushik! I just loved the DoF. I think that is the strength of this image apart from the excellent color contrast. A large print would do a great justice for this I feel.

Excellent! I love the placement of the leaves, the light change of color on the tips of the "fire" leaf, the texture and patterns in the BG leaf. Lovely curves in the fire leaf too!

Did you try to make an abstract of this same set up if yes would love to see it.
