In the shadows, they live on...
I wanted to portray how, even in metropolitan cities, trees and other forms of Nature silently find a way to survive. Often, you don't notice a little plant growing by the side of the road. And ten years later, you suddenly notice that there's a tree there. I wanted to portray this silent existence of Nature.

Not sure if the post-processing works here. Suggestions are welcome.

I read the description first and then saw the image. To me tiles and the pole are taking too much attention. I think image needs some more contrast (not visual) between the shadows and the surroundings to portray what you have in mind.

Agree with Adithya about the pole. You can safely crop it because there are sufficient elements suggestive of the theme.
Good thing to work on Falak!
Thanks for sharing

Adithya and Nirlep sir, thank you so much for your valuable feedback. I joined CNP to hone these raw visions that I have and I grow as an artist every time I post here and hear from great minds like you. I didn't notice earlier the amount of attention the pole was taking but now I clearly do. I will try to balance out the presence of nature and civilization to intensify the impact I want the image to make in the future. I also agree with more contrast required in the image. Maybe I could have waited for a person to pass by; that would have made for a more dynamic frame. Will try it next time.
