Living on the edge!
It was a hot evening and the glare on the rock was high. The bird was sitting on the edge of the cliff and the silhouette was looking impressive. Although it was not looking as silhouette for the bare eye, I decided to photograph as silhouette. The dry tree was adding to the mood of the image. It was taken with a non-DLSR camera by compensating the exposure. This is one of the examples to show that the equipment doesn't matter to make a pleasing image!

Image made using Olympus SP500UZ.

This is a unique image. Love the light and darkness diagonally split in the frame with a bird adding a lot to the image.
I think there is a clear sharpening artifact which you may want to remove.
