Loved the blurred, curving brushstrokes-like filaments spreading out. Nice soft feel.

Excellent use of shallow DOF, Naveen. Noise in mid tones is a bit distracting. A round of noise removal would enhance it, IMO.

Excellent shot. Superb control of dof. Just to nitpick- I'd have loved less contrast to that stigmata top-which is in focus. It would give the whole pic a softer tone. The focused is drawing attention of the eyes a little more than it should IMO. I'd rather keep on looking the softer tone, curvy and blurred part more.

Ditto Dheeraj. Love the curves part. For me it works better without the bud. How simple things hide mysteries this picture is an example.

Thank you all for insightful comments!!!
Ramesh, I agree the noise grains are bit distracting, probably the major portion of the image is in mid tone range, noise is more prominent. Lesson learnt :)
Dheera, Nirlep, I wanted an anchor point in the image, hence focused slightly on the anther. I have another image where anther and filaments are OOF, somehow the whole image was looking too soft to my taste.
Its a great learning experience in CNP!!!
