Stunting or internalising?
Potted plants and bonsais seem to reflect our passion for nature. But is it that simple? I wonder if tendency to control nature is at work here. Is bonsai an attempt to dwarf and stunt nature? For now I just have this visual that I made last weekend. Looking for clues to these tendencies...

whenever i see a bonsai, i feel we are being cruel to the plants. controlling the growth of a tree/plant as per our needs is kind of a hidden violence...
In this image, how does it look if bonsai is in focus and the tree in background is out of focus??

Bonsais do look violent to me too.
