Gaur
Often our jargon of species is mainly from old hunting literature. Most of us learnt that Gaur means white socks. This image is a result of our ongoing work called the "Bhimgad Collective" an approach to document a natural area through different photographers and different techniques and different perspectives. Will be posting one by one soon.

Very well conceptualised, depicts the movement of Gaur quite well. The image portrays how exactly a gaur moves about in the forest, takes me in-there right next to animal ! My be you could consider removing / cropping off the light at the left-hand side. Looking forward to more from this project.....thanks for sharing

Oh, didn't know that Gaur means White Socks! Thanks for sharing the image which focuses on Gaur!
Interestingly, quoting Oxford dictionary for the meaninig of word Gaur,

Origin

Early 19th century: from Sanskrit gaura; related to cow

This information is also a new info to me.

Looking forward to see Bhimgad Collectives, VMR..

I like the way this has been brought to the elements. The emphasis on the parts to picture the whole is a great approach. Leaving a lot to the imagination and extrapolation. Wonderful work look forward to the series. TFS
