What an image, Krishnan :)
I was searching for it ... and what I joy when I discovered its tiny presence there which completely has lifted the whole landscape to another level altogether !
The light adds the magic too in this.
TFS.

Sheer magic!
It took quite some time to figure out if you were serious or joking ;)

Amazing amazing image. Gives the perspective of the vastness of the landscape where it roams. Only close up images of this specie would not do complete justice for its nature and character. Images like these would tell more detailed stories than the close up perspectives.

Thanks a lot for sharing this gem.

You rough it out for days to end in such terrain and suddenly somebody hushes out loud " SCHAN" . "Where? Where?" you hiss back.
The image captures the thrill and the adrenaline rush of the whole story.

Thank you all for you kind comments. This was what I saw just as we reached Kibber and trekked up to the ridge. Something about the landscape made me put the SL in its prime habitat. I am yet to blog the second trip, here is a link to the first trip. http://www.krishphoto.com/trip-reports/ ... spiti.html

What a sight this is, Krishnan! Majestic cat in its majestic world. Close up shots can't come near this shot. TFS

i was trying to search for it in the small display of laptop and when i saw this image on a bigger display, it just blew me away. The scale is what matters, like all said, close up shot would not have given this impact. Thanks for making and sharing this image.
