Welcome to CNP, Tharangini! I hope you will enjoy participating here.
After about 9+ years of posting here at CNP, I too, like you, am not confident of posting all my images here But I think that is a good thing! It made me think a lot before pressing the shutter. The whole journey has been very fascinating. It started with rebelling against status quo, questioning routine pretty pictures to creative expressions, use of novel techniques, understanding light, discussion around importance of having a personal style/signature to problems with the personal style/signature to relating different form of arts like music to comparison with other forms of art like paintings to understanding visual grammar and expression of feelings and now to pondering over why all these!! All these probably will lead to couple of last frames, an empty black square and an empty white one in the not too distant future!!
I would love to read a few words about this post. What are your thoughts? I think understanding abstract work needs an open dialogue with the creator to fully absorb the intent and relate to it. It is important to note nature and purpose of such exchange is more of a conversation, not an evaluation. We often mistake our posting to an evaluation which is absurd! I have learnt this after several years
Welcome again! Looking forward to more of your participation here!
