Color in the canopy
I took this image with the precise intention to show the Hornbill as such, luckily the subject obliged, not in the best time of the day but nevertheless. Cloned out a few hotspots in the canopy.

Presence of just the beak makes the image intriguing. A bit more of its eye would have added a lot to this image IMO, VMR.

Hi VMR,
This one stung me! From the thumbnail it looked some kind of leaf and lo! the larger version unfolded into a revelation. beautiful spotting.

Excellent image VMR - this portray its favorite habitat better than showing it on a open branch. The hidden eye subtly adds to the feel making us focus on the contrasting color scheme. Thanks for sharing.

WOW love it sir! Nice seeing you post after a long time! I like the way the bill comes out of the dense foliage and the striking colors of the beak against the greens

Love the hint of the eye, i feel a little more saturation on the beak would enhance the image
