Your timing has been perfect here, Nirlep. There are quite a few points of interest here. That makes me wonder why you would include so many in one frame! Your thoughts would help...

Thanks Ramesh. about points of interest... Yes there are a lot of them actually. Not to mention the color which I tried to shake off ;) Travelling in canada there was too much of manicured nature around. kind of visual assault .. forcing me to foreground wild flora where ever I went. Acutally this was my "artists revenge" that I will not look directly at the grand or majestic or slick. I chose to look at everything through the eyes of native flora. Here too like every where in canada were daisies swaying amidst wild grass anchored by a bent tree. The falls on the farther side happened to be there. The rainbow is there almost everyday, gull flying in was incidental. Here I tried doing two things; intersecting the gull with rainbow reduces the point of interest to one that is the point of intersection, and position myself in order to get the rainbow and curvature of the tree resonate to the extent possible. This is how I tried stitching together all the elements. Don't know how far I succeeded. Would love to know what you think.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts, Nirlep. Definitely the gull and rainbow take bulk of a viewer's attention. The positioning of the tree and desaturation of colors convey your perspective of "artist's revenge"! A very bold image, I would say.

One of the best images of niagra falls in my view... all the points of intrest amalgamate so well , giving a perfect flow to the image with respect to the still tree ....

Nirlep, what is interesting me is how you probably transformed an upbeat image to a philosophical one. As a viewer I see color in the arc of the rainbow which is gone now, the bent tree adds to the mood of lost colors of the rainbow. And the contrast of innocent little blooming flowers and the bird does not appear to understand what is happening in the house - good for them !!

"transformed an upbeat image to a philosophical one" really like this observation Ganesh because it resonates with my intent. Coming from you it means a lot to me.

Mind-blowing image Nirlep. Never though rainbow can look beautiful without colors. The complimentary elements with the rainbow made this image beautiful for me. Regards

Thanks Nevil, Prasenjeet. The choice to exclude color was deliberate. Ever since I heard of the eupehmism of "first nations" used for native americans my attention was drawn towards wild flowers existing on the margins of the grandoise. Every time I looked through the view finder my camera would gravitate towards wild flowers; the "first nations" of nature.
