You did well to present perfect profile of the bird against a tranquil back drop. There are several things which can be tried here. Excluding about 100 pixels from the bottom improves prominence of the bird. As presented the bird looks alerted to your presence. That dilutes the feeling of solitude you want to portray. I'm sure it can be done with lil more wait...looking forward to your next post.

You have a fine image here. Love the joyful scape here. Though small in frame the bird gets significant visual attention here. The curvy movement of light with a bird on the edge adds a lot to the aesthetics of the image. I think the fishing net further brings in human element to the image. Good, you didn't try to exclude that from the image. Thanks for sharing..
