Dinesh, on your private message on FB, I think there is no right or wrong in art. Only we the artists need to be honest to ourselves. We don't make images for others. We will never be able to make it too! We make it for ourselves. That said, you should ignore critiques which are not in line with your thoughts or emotions that led to such expressions. Such expressions are often very similar to act of weeping, smiling, etc. An image is yet another way of self expression. As a critique I think it does not make sense to say "if you weep like this it looks better..". That does not make sense. That said, we may share our thoughts on such creations. It is upto the artists to take whatever makes sense for her. The point is an artist is right when it comes to expression of her emotions. The most important aspect is remaining true and honest to our creations.
With that note, I think a stronger anchor would have added to the frame. As presented the form of bird is not evident for me in this image. Think about what tonal ranges go well with "waiting". Is it bright white? pure black? darker tones? mix of them? what is it? What kind of interactions of them you need in the image (naturally, not photoshopped)? We need to feel them before we press the shutter. If we don't feel it, no one will (other way round is not necessarily true). We will also end up pressing the shutter at the end!!
Hope this helps..
