Agree with most of you on the cropping of a few pixels from the bottom and maybe a few from the sides,
but not the top.
(My thought) Depicting something lifeless and yet possessing so much to offer even after life,
must be something Heavenly, so including the sky (empty space at the top).
It’s like giving depth to the thought behind the image, [afterthought on most occasions
].
Don’t agree with the horizontal crop, as the whole perspective of the image would change.
