It was my longtime wish to visit nalsarovar-the famous birding hotspot of winter in monsoon. After reaching there we realized we were late by almost a month ! As practically few few birds were there .. Sharing one of the few images i made there. .Thanks in advance for critics & suggestions.........

A very fine image, infact I was recently visualising an image similar to this, this one is really good especially with the graphic lines of the cross. The high key also works well here.

Excellent image Jayesh. Bg itself is very interesting - love those soft curved blades and muted colors which gives an artistic feel to the image. Of course I like the bird on on the cross - "messenger of peace" ?

A successful nature photograph may tell a story in nature (natural history) or act as a link between the viewer and his emotions (and may not have a story embeded). I think the latter kind of images are as important as the former (may be comparison is not called for here). I think it is the latter focus which tilts the nature photography towards an art form..

jayeshbhai,

very powerful, with streaks of sweet pastels and bold subject. as ganesh said .. it can convey message very loudly, wish you had taken that 'cross' (it's not just a perch) not so lightly to convey message or emotion.

regards.

Jayesh, Nice muted colours. Weeds/blades add lot to the image and the composition as well. This make unique high key image. Thank you for sharing.

I love the title given by Ganesh! This is excellent visualization Jayesh. And I must confess that most of your images intrigues me more than anything! What makes this image for me is the subtle tonality complementing the thin grasses. Fantastic 'Man and nature' image this!
