Drawing - An experiment
Took this image in the snowy mountains of Switzerland. Bumped up the brightness, played with the levels a bit to hide the snow. The entire landscape was barren except this lone tree..Tried to show the tree as a pencil drawing here. Would love to know your comments.

This is an excellent image Rajesh. Loved the high-key effect. Loved the thin delicate looking twigs/branches with some nice details in them.
My only nit is the composition - the top seems to cry for some extra space. Might also consider placement of tree elsewhere (for eg., lower thirds' lines / horizontal format etc etc) in the frame (if there's provision to do so in the original).
Thanks for sharing this beautiful image. Where (in Switzerland) was this image made ?

This is a great one, especially the high key thing and the graphic lines. The composition takes it a notch higher as well. This is really heartening to see taking scenes to an art level. Would love to see this on a wall.

very nice image Rajesh, liked the details on the tree.
agree with Kaushik regarding the space on the top of the tree and a horizontal frame.

VMR: I should first thank CNP for opening up an artistic eye in me. An inspiring portal I should say. Thank you very much for your comments.
Kaushik: I took this from a train on the way to Interlaken from Lucerne.
Prithivi: Yes, the positioning could have been better, had to take this quickly as the train approached a curve.

Excellent image Rajesh - very artistic indeed. I would consider couple of things - would leave a bit more space at the top and just a bit more under exposure to show continuity in the region of roots. Thanks for sharing..

Minimalism at its best! I would have liked a *little* more space above the branches too, now it feels abruptly cut off!
