Night walker..
Made this image at around 7.30 at night... This was the only image i could manage, and the night walker was calm enough to stay put for 30 secs of exposure. Before even could click the next sequence all three of us - camera,me and the subject were flooded with the wave of water.. That was enough for my wife to insist on closing the shop for the day :(

Critics welcome...

Interesting tone and angle, I guess a little more space at the bottom would add to the image. Beautiful.

Excellent image Adithya - unique lighting here. The posture of it adds a lot too. Reminds pictures of space ships on moon/mars :)

Beautiful tone here, lovely perspective, I was also thinking of another way to make this, ( not saying that would be better than this, just discussing possibilities ) May be the eyes could be lit up using a LED light source covered with a diffuser, the background tone could have been retained , but the beautiful crab and a little of the sand could have got brighter to create even more striking results, ( may be also caption it as Eyes of the Night ) :-). Just thinking, but this is extremely good.

@ Saurabh: i have the space in the original image.. just that i didnt want this to be one more compo following the rule of thirds.. hence kept it at the bottom...
@ Nevil: thanks and i am glad you like it :)
@Ganesh: Thanks for giving the extra terrestrial dimension to the image.. i like it... :)
@Shankar: thanks for your critic..yea the gear is just doing fine.. thanks again for asking..
@Doc: this was made using a led torch covered with a white paper(my own diffuser ;) ) and while i was making this image, i realized the endless opportunities of making images at that place...then one wave of water spoiled the show :( I like the way you imagine things and bring out the possibilities of making images.. I am learning the same thing from you and i must say that you are the guru who taught me to imagine things and then trying to create something different... Thank you....

Lovely image.....Although i haven`t tried this, but would like to add something to Nilanjan`s suggestion. If one can
lit up eyes selectively with focussed RED LED light than your night walker can also do `Night patrolling '

This will remain among one of those images, which I will remember for a long long time. This is almost 4th time I have opened the image to enjoy the beauty of light... Nothing much to talk about this image, just sunk back & enjoying the beauty...
Best Regards...

Amazing Adithya, the subject and the frame gives a nice alien feel to the image, this is super sharp for a 30 second exposure. I loved the perspective and the blue BG, superb work.
I feel the same could have been achieved using a blue/white led torch light, it might have helped you to reduce the exposure time.

Thanks again for your kind words guys..

@Prithvi: 30 Sec exposure time was for the sea and not for the crab ;) the crab was light painted using the torch for a couple of seconds..

I always thought that I had commented on this wonderful image. But sadly it was not there. Sorry for being late. A truly wonderful image for me. The tones are very pleasing and the angle is just perfect.
