absolutely genial execution 'n presentation, neelu. like the b&w conversion with subtly interwoven planes 'n radiating strokes. indeed, one of the finest elephant images i've seen. simply incredible!
like the intriguing interaction between you nirlep, nilanjan 'n ganesh.

regards.

The same subject but so many different outtakes and that too completely different and unique in their own ways.
This one stands out due to the radial blur added by your zoom in slow shutter. The blur starting from the down left makes this image for me.
TFS, neelu.

Ganesh, you are coming out with quotes over quotes... "I am of the view that the process of creation and the creator herself/himself should be disconnected from what got created. An image lives (if it deserves to live) independent of its creator and may last longer than the creator and lives an independent life." -- Love this !!

Neelu, shooting quietly, right by my side, you come up with this beautiful rendering of my favorite animal! i love it. what i constantly learn from you is how dedicated you are to trying new things and learning and your enthu inspires me NO END. am *so glad* to see you on this forum. grin.

of course people have said so much already so anything i remark about the image will be superfluous. Do reprocess slightly and repost on the Illustration Forum. It is amazing the kind of conversations that continue there.

OMG! If I had to fall in love with an elephant, this would be it! Simply outstanding. Not sure if an elephant can be rendered more artistically than this. Phew!!!
Love how the form of the elephant comes out from this. Whats specially appealing is the way you have the eye and the trunk still showing their form despite the lovely blur. This IMO makes the image what it is. We get some identity to associate the image with, which is crucial in pictures like this.
Khudos!! I am yet to read what others are saying but could not wait till I had penned my thoughts down first!

Ganesh, if this image has made me loose my words, your words have made me go dumbfound!
I was not ready for this when I got up, on what would have been another dull Monday morning!
"I am of the view that the process of creation and the creator herself/himself should be disconnected from what got created. An image lives (if it deserves to live) independent of its creator and may last longer than the creator and lives an independent life" So True!

Neelu thanks so much for changing my Monday in such a dramatic fashion :)

Neelu, Pure work of art here. But for the scope in processing this image is just fantastic. Very well done indeed. Thank you for sharing.
