tree in autumn and a bit of serendipity
This tree stood in a field with lot of competing elements such as a tractor, fence and some implements. It looked kind of flat till I placed the camera on top of my car. And lo....oof car roof became fog and hid everything that bothered me. So next time you want to generate fog just place your camera on your car top and enjoy :)

Brilliant :-), but before that I need to paint my car white or silver otherwise the fog might look a bit reddish :) lol. I have seen Ganesh do this quite often, he was removing distractions in the frame by holding leaves ( color matched leaves ) in front of the lens and all. I was stunned and looking with awe having no clue about what was he doing :-). Now I know why they say great men think alike ( so do fools ) :-), the part in the bracket applies to me or those like me :-). It is really looking like fog and I must say this is very finely executed. You missing Nirvair a lot na dost ?? :-) Suddenly you have become so busy in CNP, commenting so regularly and posting classics nearly everyday ? Even we are missing him, but am also happy that now geographically he is closer to me than you :-). I can feel his absence in your heart dear, be happy thinking that he is doing what he loves best and is perhaps enjoying the best days before he again comes out in the jungle to face animals like me. God bless him always.....met him only once but I can never explain how deep was that connection.Children are God's best gift to humans.....

Hi Nilanjan,
as i go through your comment smile spreads from ear to ear on my face. You're such a "spirit"ed man I would love to be in that bracket. :) Yeah I do miss Nirvair a lot maybe that's why i am very regular at CNP now. You can enjoy Nirvair's proximity. I actually feel secure that he's so close to kolkata and you. Thanks buddy.

The car roof totally altered the mood Nirlep :) love the selective color of the tree.. I once used the window frame to create the fog, check it out here gallery/image_page.php?album_id=1&image_id=4701

Brilliant, again. More time you spend on CNP more joy for us. While oof car body is a technique used by me earlier, i learnt a new word "serendipity" :) There is so much to learn in this world.

Yeah! Thanks for the innovation , i have used or seen people using natural elements to remove distraction and this one is a real add on if it gets on with the image. How about placing the tree to left and much more definition than in center.

Who would have thought! This is called improvising and making the most of the presented conditions. Wonderful concept. Glad you had a white car :)

Love the square crop and the centre placement of the tree.

Your image speaks so much of originality in thought and unless you mentioned it who would have imagined it to be a car which replacing the fog! The tree rising like in the middle of the frame with the white b/g makes the image for me.
