The Hilly Moon
This image was shot in 2008. I was standing out as there was a power failure in my house. Looked above in the sky. A crescent moon was shinning high with a completely black sky.
This took my attention and I went ahead and tried to do some creation. I changed my camera into the bulb mode. Focussed on the moon and then tried some motions. I had the visualization of hill,
as there is a hill near my house which is very pleasure to watch during sunrise and sunset.
I tried a no of attempts then finally achieved what I wanted.
A HILLY MOON

WOW wonderful creation Vijay,

Images like this require more than just click of the shutter. The planning of the image and the execution is top notch. Breaking rules haas never been so much fun!

An interesting moon-paint here. May be off-centered placement of moon would have added ?

These strokes are mesmerizing !!! I saw it in the morning but still waited till evening to see if I still like it as much in the evening and I think I love it even more now :-). I too would have loved to see the moon on a top corner.

Hi Vijay,
It took you three years to share this image !!! To me it appeals for its sensual quality. How did you execute camera movement to have the forms you have here.
Thanks for sharing

like the execution of wonderful idea resulting in sensual curves (as nirlep said), vijay. i think, not including the moon at all will reduce it to utterly sensual!

regards.

nicely done Vijay.
I would have preferred that the moon did not overlap on the lines.
