The maze.jpg
The scene appealed to me as a maze of branches, reflections and shadows, tried framing the composition with the silhouettes of the trees.

Spooky was the word that came to my mind when I first saw it. Took a while to comment on it. Just love the mysterious feel at a distance. Instead of no focus on FG trees, if I were you, I would have gone for focus blend and braketting here. Anyways it is your vision. Pixel crop of 10 - 15 from bottom would put this over the top. And would love see this in B&W :)

love the colors in this image and the scene. is that moss or bird-droppings on the trees? i like the focus on the far trees... it is allowing me to go into the image. Were you on a boat or on the shore?
i can imagine the hint of s forward-end of a boat and the soft laps of the oars. this image is very evocative, thanks.
