Phew ! I open this up and its marvellous. The reeds and the balance of the two coots in the frame, and the pencil sketch type reflections of the Pelicans make this work for me. Thanks for sharing !

Reeds, tonal ranges, gentle dark shades,symmetry in the composition and the prominent beaks of pelicans makes it for me. Well seen and executed Nevil ! Thanks for sharing.

Love the calmness in the image. It reminds me a simpler time when things were less rushed about and life was more relaxed! The OOF elements add a nice dreamy feel to the image.

Hi Nevil,
Just love the soft mood here!! Reeds softly splitting the two pelicans into different sections is a strong point of the composition. Specially noticeable is the the slanting reed aligned with the beak of the pelican on the left.
Thanks for sharing

Beautiful one. Low contrast makes this image for me. How about cropping a few pixels from the right?

Image has a very calm feel to it. The type of image that inspires me to go out and make different images.Lovely.

thanks once again, folks.

@adithya,
i find this compo much balanced 'n relaxed, cropping a little from the right might prove too tight for the rising right most reed 'n the coot below. are you asking this to avoid overlapping backdrop CNP frame-edge?

regards.

A very refreshing and `different' image from Khijadia.Love pose n position of both pelicans,coots ,reeds & mood of the image ...

The oof reeds/grass gives a pastel feel to the image .. at one side i feel the presence of coot and the grebe is a bit attention grabbing but on the other hand i feel it balances the image very well. But what i love the most about this frame is the top 2/3rd of the frame. tfs
