Views from Borasu pass
This was shot from Borasu pass base camp. Textures on glacier and forms carved by weathering was what caught my attention.

Dear Sir,

This is a wonderful land-scape which is just not usual in terms of orientation & B&W conversion... I often visit photographs of legend Ansel Adams, & this image takes me to the similar places... What a wonderful way of executing a scape in monochrome moods...

Regards

The stone pattern is very graphic and has a mystery feel in it Nirlep ! Black region at top stands out like a nose. This should make an interesting print on a large baryta paper. Thanks for sharing.

Lovely tones and texture. Well done. ( IMHO May be you can dare a little more on the whites and have a black border white eats into the tonal range )

Bhavya...thanks for your words
Saurabh this is a huge compliment...
Ganesh..great that you've liked it. Everything except the black region is a glacier including the entire foreground. Where does one get the paper you talked about. Would it be possible to print on it at any lab?
Raj..coming from the master of tones this is big. I didn't notice the border till you said it. I've tried it with black border and bingo! it works..

A classic image, Nirlepji. A post on exposure and great B&W rendering. Simply liked the details on the rock surfaces. TFS.

WOW has a lovely Ansel Adems feel to it. While the light look a little to harsh, I loved the texture on the rocks.

like the play of lethal texture here, nirlep, and the way peak rises above. wonderful details bought in monochrome.
