Hmm, this one is interesting. I would have kept it untitled and given as an exercise for deciphering. I would retain the lit head/ear as is which I think adds to the puzzle. Thanks for sharing Prasenjeet !

Till I read the title I could not recognise the nilgai. Very intriguing one. How about cropping a few pixels from the top till the small bright portion ends? But it takes out the mystery from the image.
Thanks for sharing.

Prasenjeet - this image has the intimacy and the mystery feel that you get to associate with a closeup portrait image of a fauna. If you avoid the bright patch on the top then i presume the image will become even more mysterious.
Personally i would suggest you to give a shot with a B&W conversion and see if it works.

Ganesh H Shankar:- I agree, I should not have reveled it at the first.

Adithya Biloor :- I tried removing the white portion at the top but it somehow affects the complete image. I think cropping the ear distort the beauty of Nilgai.

Shivakumar L Narayan :- I will try the B&W. I liked the colour and the fact that the sheen and the luster on the eye ball is because of the colour.

PS:- Thanks a lot for your comments. I am learning a lot from the forum and I have started to explore my subjects much more than before.

A very interesting perspective here Prasenjeet! I agree with Shiva, there's a certain intimacy to this image and it adds to the mysterious feel here :)

A hint of reflection in its eye is what makes the image for me. I have taken the liberty to crop and render in B&W and posted it in the illustration forum. Couldn't resist doing that. Hope you don't mind that. Let us know how you find that version. Thanks for sharing this lovely image.
