Racket Tailed Drongo
Racket tailed drongo : It was difficult to spot this bird when it was sitting inside the brancjes of the tree. Most interesting part was that I was trying to spot it by recognising the tail movement but I noticed the tail mimikced the torn leaves of the branch which were also moving in the wind. In a whole highly camouflaged situation. But suddenly the bird moved out and sat on the end of the dry branch as if it made a pose to me in a beautiful composition. Immediately I visualised the shot I wanted a Silhouette against the sky.

This is excellent Rithwik ! The matching shapes of the leaves makes it for me. I would not have noticed the drongo otherwise. How about loosing just a few pixels at the top ? Thanks for sharing.

Outstanding spread of the tree, the space left is working so well with the shape of the tree, probably without the drongo even this image would be as attractive. The two branches one coming down straight and the other on the left are balancing the frame just so beautifully. Brilliant.

well seen opportunity ...not sure if the dark corners are adding to the visual....is it introduced or due to lens vignetting?to me the minimalism in the image is lost due to the vignetting...

Very very pretty frame here Rithwik, I like the composition and the grains. I am not so sure about the vignetting though, it is a tad distracting for me.

Great seeing here, Rithwik... the composition is really nice ... the graphic quality of the image is what does it for me... the vignetting takes a tad away from it, but really, i felt that only on second or third look. the first look was all just the shapes drawing the eyes to the bird... very well composed!
Thanks,
A
