and you are back ......excellent portrait I would say, I get the sense of the species being endangered, as if the magpie too knows it, it wants to see but does not wish to be seen ( well except by you perhaps ) . I see a lot of noise, is it due to heavy crop or due to processing ? This image is worth processing again, till you get it just perfect. Brilliant....

Ganesh: thanks... these borders will fox the heck out of me. i tried a large border, liked it, then got chicken thinking i will hear "yukkk!" so went with the smaller border... hehehe

Nilanjan-da: Thanks! the heavy noise is because i was shooting on ISO1600. it is not a heavy crop - just that the rainforest was dark and the bird was unpredictable, so i had bumped up the ISO I dont have a software to remove noise. What is a good plugin/ processing software for that?

Neat image is one, it works pretty cool.

Very nice one. Liked Sandeep somasekharan's interpretation also, indeed it reminds Kabandha. Agree with others on noise.
