Misty Mumbai Morn
I am no sure if this counts as creative but here goes.

Bunch of buildings all around this patch of course but isolated them somehow.

This is the view from my balcony, early morning on 2nd Jan 2012, 0735H. I was setting up to grab some parakeet shots .. well thats an ongoing project :-)

I simply love this frame, Krish. And you know what i love most? each time i look at it, i discover something new. first one bird, then a flock, then a raptor... then different textures. i almost feel like i need a large size image of it to do justice!

very, very pretty frame. and that fractal nature of those raintrees are something i have grown up with seeing everyday from my window and this frame captures that soooo well.

thanks!
A

Never imagined Mumbai would have such a breathing space. Nice image Krishnan. Mist, layers and aves create a mood of being in the wilderness.

Thanks Arati & Bharath ! This is the Aarey colony patch in Mumbai which my building overlooks. Used the biggie lens to isolate the frame.

Arati, you have a point , one needs a biggie print to see the details. The flock of birds in the distance was total serendipity, after I saw the frame on the screen . As for the other kite in the foreground, I waited for it to come into the frame.
Also, I think I need to crop to the height just below the signature. That I think is somehow.... looking better balanced. Also, maybe next year winter, I will try to reshoot this with a D800 and see how that is ! Devil is in the details !

Have been coming back to this image since sometime now. What is intriguing is the 'pristine' mood that you have brought about in the frame despite this being inside a big city! You have made a superb image here Krish. Loved it all the way. Subtle tones of colors is something I love to the core. Way to go..

I really love this imahe, have never seem the city this way, a good way to showcase the Mumbai morning. The birds flying in the image add so much life to the image. I guess you could try a B&W version too, thanks for sharing.

Really lovely image, so many hues and shades of color in a subdued subtle manner. The mist , the standing tall coconut trees, the birds...all makes this so charismatic...i can definitely look at it for quite a time. TFS
