Owl is one of my favorite bird & i am extremely grateful to my senior birdwatcher friend, who always has
showed me some amazing species from owl family. Last month we have decided to document all resident owls
of gujarat & that too in dark ( When actually owls are active) I was excited about it because i have never done
photography using artificial light source ( in built camera flash or additional flash) So far, it was great learning
for me. Sharing image of oriental scops owl ( Incidently my friend registered first photographic record of this species
from Gujarat) This was pre determined shot however i have to add 20% canvass to achieve this.

I will be very happy to hear suggestions from you as i have to capture many more species with coming time...

absolutely surreal compo that compliments myths on owl. like the tones 'n penetrating gaze. additional canvas seems distinct, gradual burning will help, jayeshbhai.

Lovely gaze, well captured. Love the way you have left the space as well, Jayesh. An apt representation of a nocturnal predator!
