Excellent image Bharath ! Very well seen - a fresh perspective indeed. Detour goes very well with the image and infact those detours makes it for me. I think opening up the bright patch on the stone might add further. I would suggest taking our B&W expert Raj's view on some of those tonal adjustments. Raj's B&W darkroom experience (printing) is very invaluable. Thanks for sharing.

Love this. Looks like the rock is being pushed into water and in turn is the reason for detour of water.
Such a 'forceful' picture. The BnW conversion is working so well with this.

Thank your everyone for your time and views, appreciate it.

Sure Ganesh, Will take Raj's inputs and see how this can be made better.

Hrishikesh, this is natural art formed out of froth on a small pond from a waterfall. Must admit that I was quite lucky to witness such a beautiful scene (had to jump out of the usual boardwalk route and walk little bit on slippery rocks which made the difference). The movement of the froth was very slow than I had initially preferred but that actually helped get such a image.

When I 'saw' this (bigger) scene first, it looked like a long exposure star trial formed on the pond.

simply stunning perspective, bharath. like the flow of lines with apt contrast 'n dof. looks more like a close-up of impressionist's brush work. i guess, darkening the midtones of the stone would enhance further.

tfs. regards.
