Before seeing the title I thought this could be titled 'witness' and there you go !! Very poetic image indeed - B&W conversion, toning, decision around definitions look very apt to my eyes. One of your best - no nits from me, I am just enjoying it.

The images need not be sharp from edge to edge. The image processing decisions should revolve around what it takes to hand over the frame from eyes to heart and how soon it can be achieved. It is not about curves, levels, unsharp mask etc. It is not about showing individual strands in feather of a bird. It is not about primes/zooms/tilt-shift lenses/canon/nikon etc. It is about what you are seeing and how to show what you are seeing. It is about heart (unless you want to publish the image in a zoological journal :) ) Unfortunately image processing discussions go very deep into the latter aspects of image processing and often fail to relate to the intent and emotional needs.

An important note, make sure you are enjoying it as much as some of us here. Don't get carried away by some of our personal 'opinions'. :)

Thanks for sharing Abhisek.

There is a deeper aspect in life and nature is best connected to it, art too is connected to it, the aspect which still shows that the forms and ways may be different but life on earth is same, the purpose is also the same. Some who are lucky can see it :-). Be happy, see u next week.

The tree on the bg makes this for me Abhishek! Also the B/W conversion works very well here. The title is just what it needed to be :)

Ganesh Anna, when you say this is one of my best then it has to be that way :)
Although I feel this is again just by virtue of being there at the right time with all the elements rightly placed in the platter from where I just had to pick... can't claim to be very creative :O And thanks for your advise as always ... It definitely helps looking beyond the limitations of the mediums ...

Dada, Hope someday I am blessed with your wisdom of life... The way u can connect to various works of art...be it music, literature or photography is just unbelievable !! Lets catch up sometime this week...

Thnx Subhankar for your views... glad that you liked it...

Regards,
Abhisek
