Hi Nirvair,
I like the burnt feel of this shot. The title goes well with the elements. Is it from a negative? Tiny dark specks which I think are flying leaves really add to the "time" element of the shot. They look like moments coming and flying past.
Thanks for sharing

Hi dad,
This was clicked with rebel 2000 film camera, i was using a b&w film with 400 ISO from where the grains come in. The dark specks are actually crows which were flying past this tree. Added a little extra grain in the post processing.
:-)

hi nirvair
I thought it was ..small insects flying around... I think you did the right thing by adding grains to this pic... it enhances this pic...very much

thanks for sharing

Looks like a shot out of a horror movie Nirvair. A little too much grain, loved to see one with a little less.

Thanks a lot Siriam ji and prithvi ji for your comments.

Prithvi ji, I cant upload the picture somehow, so i am putting up a link. The linked image has a little bit of exposure correction, it has much lesser grains than the one i posted.

Nice image in my books. I love the concept here a lot. Now if am forced to speak of the technical aspects, the grains work for me a great deal. Images like these help visualize time and space just so much.

A fine moody creation here Nirvair ! Curved tree, dots of birds and grass blades all come together nicely. While the grains add I think making it a bit more sparser and coarser (instead of finer and denser) would add to the mood. Thanks for sharing Nirvair. Hope all is well at school and studies...

Thanks a lot Nilanjan uncle and Ganesh uncle,

The one with more grains goes well with my taste buds too. Ganesh uncle, I tried to post process it in many different ways, this was something I got in the end. I got a little confused between "sparser and coarser (instead of finer and denser)", could you explain a little on how I could do that in my post processing, I am lacking of good skills in that area.

Rest my studies are going great, learning about a lot of other genres of photography which I never knew existed. There is so much to learn about photography and then learn from it, I feel I have just begun. :-)

Regards,
Nirvair

Nirvair, I was referring to size and density of the grains which you can control (using some softwares like Nik's Film grains).
