I live on a lake, and one thing I really love doing, is playing with the lighting of the water as it applies to the reeds. The colors are natural and created from the blue sky, and clouds as they reflect on the water. The reeds are a constant source of creativity for me, as I figure out new ways to convey surface tension and reflections.

Thank you for looking,

Hi Erin, Welcome to CNP ! Hope you will enjoy participating here.

A fine image to start with. The color scheme is fantastic. The bubbles at the bottom of the reeds add a lot to the frame. Larger image size will add to the presentation. Current we support up to 1024 pixels on each side (it may be better to keep it slightly smaller so that the image formats better on smaller devices like iPad).

Welcome to CNP Erin and gotta admit a very lovely image to start your posting.
Your image and words reminds me of one of my very inspirational photographer - Michael Brown.

The pleasing tones, the graphics created by the straight lines and the circles are really blending very well. Thanks a lot for sharing this and look forward to more of your creations/interactions on the forums.

Warm welcome to CNP Erin. Excellent first post here. I love the tonality in the image and the glossy feel is really adding to it. For me this reminds me of the words - "Projections of mind" !

Wish to see more of your creations going forward.

Best

I loved the beginning, " I Live ON a Lake ", very interesting Erin, am looking forward to get a hang of your life on the lake through your images. By the way, do you actually live on a lake ?? You must have some of the most awesome experiences :-), dying to see the stillness and roughness of life around you which reflects on the lake through vivid and dull experiences of color and moments. Would love to know more about you....where are you from ? Plz share more info about yourself with us.
