Very graphic image Adithya. Having it exactly in the "chasm" would have added a lot, but then it is nature photography....

Hi Adithya,
A beautiful image this! In act not having the ant right in the chasm brings more tension for me..I want to pick it up and place it there. It involves me.
Graphic appeal as Ganesh says is superb.
Thanks for sharing

Absolutely right Nirlep :-), very good view point....Adi, this is a gem of an image, the spread is just so unassuming, it does not allow the mind to settle down easily, though I know am looking at a photograph, but I kept looking at it feeling something more would happen, something more will unfold. One of your best I would say....

Fantastic image Aidthya. Loved every bit here..
I totally agree with Nirlep's view. As it is image is stunning and Nirlep's comment made me to virtually place the ant in different places and enjoy it more:)

adithya, love the starkness of the image, and its well distributed sweeps of black and white, and then theres that little bit of life, that brings it all together...and as Nirlep so well has pointed out it involves the veiwer, one wants to instinctively see the ant in various possible places in the image, how engaging. wonderful creation this.

I completely agree with Nirlep -- so much tension in this image, it is magnetic ... will the ant make it? wont it? this is called the "decisive moment," in photography, is it not?

what a lovely offering, Adithya!
thanks
A

This is awesomeness. The sheer graphic quality of the image (Is it one or a painting!) is just too good.
Keep you hooked... and just takes you to a completely different world... the Ant World if I call it.

Excellently seen and executed...

TFS.
