Hi Ashish,
While a square crop would look great I have an empathy for the bottom part. To me it is a bit light as compared to the rich blacks in the top half. You may try darkening it a bit. There might be some loss of detail but it will make tonal flow better in my opinion.

A fine image in my books Ashish ! Well handled tonal ranges. I am not sure whether gently opening darker tree regions would add, may be our Raj would know...

Thanks for sharing.

I personally feel there could have been many frames for this...I like those tree tops a lot but agree with Nirlep that may be if the composition emphasizes on the tree tops then the bottom could be sacrificed a bit due to the gradient in the tonal range. I was thinking of another interesting composition, sacrificing the tree tops and begin the frame from the point where the tone of the water has already become light and continue more on the water to capture more reflection or may be a nice squared composition. Square will look awesome but one has to balance the tone very well and decide which part gets more priority. My personal opinion is emphasizing both the darker as well the lighter tone in this image is making me feel a little unsure which one to appreciate more ? :-). But a beautiful forest image.

Thanks everyone for your valuable inputs..
Nirlep ji - I tried square in this but was not satisfied so kept it vertical .. :D The actual intention was to give the monsoon feel hence included the small portion of bottom. Thanks for your honest opinion. :)
Nilanjaj ji - I was also interested in the composition of the reflections, same pinch :D ..
