Till the last ray lasts. …
Each day when I returned back to the Camp leaving a wonderful day of African Safari behind.... I felt sad, my mind never seemed to give up searching for something till the last moment ... till the last ray of sun.. until it forced me to go black.... like these grasses underneath, trying to sine till the last ray lasts.

Lovely setting! I would say slightly brightening the foreground a tad more to show more of the Grass shimmering in the sun would have added IMO. This is a lovely setting!

Lovely settings here, Shantanu.
Would have loved to see a different placement for sun than just behind the tree. Both are merged together and grabbing the attention in this frame.
What I love the most of this frame is the in the foreground, shimmering golden grass twigs. They are getting lost due to merging of sun and tree just behind them.
All three placed together in a different framing would have been definitely more appealing.
TFS.

Shantanu, a frame thats aflame.with the vermillion skies, a befitting backdrop for the gnarled twisted branches reaching up with open arms to the sky
, but its the light skimming on the grass heads, that really make this special. great that you managed to retain that in the exosure... it so adds. lovely.

Lovely tones here.. Even the tree is placed very nicely. Well done.

The off-centre compo of the tree and the light on the foreground works well, little opening-up of the foreground may have helped. I like the way you have emphasized the scale by showing a small shrub on the right edge of the frame. Thanks for sharing.

The glows of the grass makes it for me Shantanu ! Wish you had an animal too in the distant backdrop ! Too much to ask for ?

lovely image, a small plant on the ride side of the frame adds to the image. for my eyes, sun behind the tree looks good. TFS
