Just a moody image to begin with... I am not completely satisfied with the tones in the image yet. Suggestions to improve the image, most welcome! :)

beautiful capture.......loved the story....noise and haziness makes the image more dramatic. Thanks for sharing.

Very moody feel there... the grains, the softness enhances it all...you may try to make it a little cooler and see if it works for you...

A fine capture of this moment, Kiran. Low contrast works very well here. The glaring reflection off the tree trunk distracts a bit. You might want to darken that a bit. TFS.

Thx Soham, Babumoshai and Ramesh, for your comments. Yes, I think I should try making it a little more cooler and also burn a little more of the tree reflection.

Kiranji, the single Dot at which the bird and its reflection seem to be hitting at , makes this image for me... briliant..just brilliant..

Love the mood. I think lifting mid-tones tad a bit would further add to the mood and also gently would emphasize the bird further.

Magical Kiran. Does babumoshai too have a similar frame ? :-)....jokes apart, loved the image a lot. Very moody processing indeed.

What lovely mood here; peaceful, yet scary. Loved it.

i love these kinds of swamp images. very "bayou-like" ... loved the gentle tones, overall processing. but what makes the image for me? that one hint of motion in the wingbeat in an otherwise deathly still scene. brilliant.
thanks,
A

A fine moody image here, may be enhanced more with mid tones handling.
Did Babumoshai say "same here" ? :)

Lovely lovely mood here. The posture of the bird, just too good. It just brings life to this whole scene...
TFS.
