Hmm, this is a magic Swapnil ! Who wouldn't wait for it to turn to snap the shutter ? I think having no description would have been more powerful. For some it may be 'past' too. Is cropped leg affecting visually ? Honestly not sure. Thanks for sharing.

yeah I agree abt the description :)
the legs i decided to snap tht way as i felt it was giving a grounded feel to the deer, isnt sure about this .

There is soo much depth in this image swapnil. not because of the DOF, but because of the idea! lovely lovely image this one.
it allows me to imagine so much, almost get into the mind of the little one. very effective and liked the tones too.

Agree with Ganesh Anna that natural inclination would have been to wait for a head turn... but then the we would have missed the story telling... Very interesting how small small changes in a frame tends to alter our visual interpretation and emotional response...

Hey Swapnil this is magic. Muted tones and head turned away make it for me. I agree with Ganesh on no title..but on another thought "A gaze" too is quite silent.
