Arati, for my taste buds the second one is outstanding while the first one looks familiar. The thin frames makes a beautiful presentation in the second one too. Do you have another frame with reflection of the trees composed like the second one ? I assumed the top one is a reflection. Thanks for sharing..

Thank you, Ganesh, means a lot.
So here is the impressionistic portrayal of the grove, in the same composition as the second one:

Arati, i like the first frame more, i think the knottish ridged textures give it a character , its a lovely frame..like your processing to give it the staggered lengths..

Thanks ganesh and neelu.
Ganesh, this is in Kerala, on the banks of the Chalakudy.

i think i can see the merits (and demerits) of both frames for different reasons. the original posted one, though somewhat familiar, gave me joy because there was a mystery and a chaos - a more dark feel to it. the second frame is more refreshing, yes, also more formal. So i guess i'm saying i dont have a preference, given the different moods in both types of presentations. if i had to pick one only to present, i might go with the original post :)

thanks a lot, made me think deeper on this image, and what had gone through my mind while making them.

Very good Arati, at the end you need to listen to your inner voice. We as creators need to be committed to our creations, it may be insightful to have others views at times.

I love this clip - especially what she says about audience of our work.

She's bang on, right on both counts.

there has to be a fearlessness and an unapologetic boldness in art. there is no place for fear, playing to galleries, or acquiescence, or obedience!
listen to others, but if a voice inside of you says something is right, listen to that most of all!

thanks Ganesh,
A
