Gosh i recognize this little tree :) i shot the same thing, thinking the same thing!
So beautiful, right - clinging to the edge of such a gorgeous waterfall?

Great scene, Madhav.

Thanks Arati! Wonder how do you remember all the places you visit :) It was remarkable to see this tree right on the edge of the roaring Athirapally falls. Wish i had a high speed video camera to record the rising mist. Will look amazing when slowed down.

Thank you Samyak!

This image is like a breath of fresh air in some fantasy land, Narnia or some such place. Beautiful one, Madhav. Thanks for sharing.

Love the setting! The title is very apt too. The light illuminating the mist and the textures in the image is so very refreshing. How about cropping some 10% from top and including a little more of the base of the rock?

Love that celestial glow Madhav, how about losing just a few pixels at the bottom ? That little stone on the left seem to drag my eyes away from the celestial cloud !

Thank you friends!
@Harsha and Ganesh: Very contradicting opinions on the framing part here :) I had not realized that the tiny boulder at the bottom left can be distracting.. I included a bit of FG to serve as an anchoring point to the tree. Here are crops i made based on your suggestions:

Since this is a full frame image, i could try add more space at the bottom Harsha. Will try next time when i visit this place.

Madhav, just a bit of crop, not till the tree, probably till half of the stone (comparing these two I would go with the original posted above). How about the original image with gentle burning or/and reduced contrast at the bottom part of the frame ? Just wondering...

I loved the original image more than the cropped ones.

Madhav I'm sorry to be late. This image is so light I feel like floating in its aura. It's almost a lullaby. I feel a bit more of boulder would make it balanced. Or else cropping about a fourth from the top.
Thanks for sharing

Madhav, even though Ganesh's point seems opposite to mine I guess we both are trying to dodge the same catch point, "the rock". I felt including more of the FG would mitigate its prominence. But all said your original image is top notch and I prefer it to your later crops.

Thank you so much for your feedback!
I have realized that my repost looks stupid :) Out of 6 frames which i shot capturing various shapes of the mist, I had one with more FG. As Ganesh pointed, i have slightly burned the FG rocks to make less striking. Hope this works.
